Seller / Vendor Terms

These Seller Terms apply to independent sellers who list products on the IM Swadesi marketplace.

1. Seller Responsibilities

Every seller is responsible for ensuring that products listed on IM Swadesi are genuine, accurately described and legally permitted for sale.

2. Product Quality

Sellers are responsible for maintaining appropriate product quality and ensuring that products match their descriptions.

3. Product Information

Sellers must provide accurate:

·       Product name

·       Description

·       Images

·       Pricing

·       Product specifications

·       Quantity

·       Applicable product information

4. Packaging

Sellers are responsible for ensuring that products are appropriately packaged for safe transportation.

5. Dispatch

Sellers are responsible for preparing and dispatching orders within the applicable processing timeline.

6. Product Compliance

Sellers are responsible for obtaining and maintaining any licences, registrations, certifications or approvals required for their products.

This may include applicable requirements for food, cosmetics, packaged goods or other regulated products.

7. Returns and Replacements

Sellers must cooperate with IM Swadesi regarding eligible:

·       Returns

·       Replacements

·       Refunds

·       Damaged products

·       Incorrect products

·       Customer complaints

8. Customer Complaints

Sellers must provide reasonable assistance in resolving product-related complaints.

9. Prohibited Products

IM Swadesi may reject or remove products that:

·       Violate applicable law

·       Are unsafe

·       Are counterfeit

·       Contain misleading information

·       Violate intellectual property rights

·       Violate marketplace policies

10. Seller Suspension

IM Swadesi may suspend or remove a seller in cases including:

·       Repeated customer complaints

·       Poor product quality

·       Fraudulent activity

·       False product information

·       Failure to fulfil orders

·       Policy violations

·       Legal or regulatory violations

11. Marketplace Role

IM Swadesi provides a platform through which sellers can showcase and sell products to customers.

The responsibilities of individual sellers remain applicable to products supplied by those sellers.
